ENQUIRE NOW

Minerva Street is set to redefine luxury living in Glasgow’s sought-after Finnieston neighbourhood. With planning consent received in late March 2023, this development will feature 59 stunning apartments, including a mix of 1, 2, and 3-bedroom residences, as well as four breath-taking 8th-floor penthouses offering panoramic views across the city.

Situated on a prime brownfield site that was once occupied by a former office building and associated car park, Minerva Street is poised to contribute to the ongoing regeneration of the thriving Finnieston area. Kelvin Properties is proud to be at the forefront of this transformation, shaping the landscape and creating a community that reflects the dynamic spirit of the area.

At Minerva Street, every apartment has been thoughtfully designed to provide a private outdoor retreat. Ground floor flats boast charming patio areas, while other units offer balconies or even multiple areas of secluded outdoor space. The penthouses take luxury to new heights, featuring expansive outdoor areas where residents can bask in the beauty of their surroundings.

This development also places a strong emphasis on community amenities. On the 1st floor, residents will find a large amenity garden, complete with a delightful children’s play area—a haven for families to relax and create lasting memories. And for all residents, the 9th-floor roof terrace awaits, a true highlight of Minerva Street.

This spectacular space is divided into three distinct areas: a Wellness Area for rejuvenation, a Dining Area for shared meals and entertainment, and a Community Growing Area that fosters a sense of connection and sustainability.

With a target site start of Summer 2025, Minerva Street is poised to become a beacon of luxury and community in Finnieston so keep your eye out for updates!

The Mount Building

Garnethill, Glasgow

Acquired by Nevis Properties, a subsidiary of Kelvin Properties, in October 2023, The Mount Building is to be transformed into 21 new build-to-rent homes.

The B-listed Mount Building, which dates back to 1882, will be transformed into a vibrant residential community, with the build-to-rent development expected to be completed in around 12 months from site start.

Originally established as Glasgow’s first Hospital for Sick Children, the Mount Building held a key role in the city’s healthcare provision until 1914, when the hospital moved to Yorkhill. Then, it became part of St Aloysius’ College, housing its Music and Art department.

This is Kelvin’s latest conversion project following the success of previous developments such as The Atrium, Candleriggs Court and our current site at Napiershall Street.

The plans for the build-to-rent development reinvision the B-Listed building as 18 one- and two-bedroom apartments, five of which will feature private terraces.

The development will help contribute to the huge undersupply of rental properties within Glasgow, specifically the need for family accommodation within the city centre thanks to the additional trio of three-bedroom mews houses which all have a private patio.

Residents will also have access to carefully planned landscaped areas, designed to foster a sense of community and well-being.

We are proud to play a part in repopulating the city centre and contributing to Glasgow City Council’s ongoing target to double the population in the city centre by 2025.

Nevis Properties aims to commence construction in the summer of 2024 and complete the development by summer 2025.

Houldsworth Street

Finnieston, Glasgow

Set to change Finnieston’s iconic skyline, we are pleased to bring this striking 12-storey apartment block to Houldsworth Street. Comprising of 34 new build-to-rent apartments, the redevelopment of this former commercial building is just another example of Kelvin Properties mission to breathe new life into old brownfield sites and to further contribute to the regeneration of Finnieston.

We are pleased to have achieved planning permission for this site in June 2023 and are proud to be at the forefront of the transformation of Houldsworth Street and ultimately creating a community that reflects the dynamic spirit of the City of Glasgow.

The brand-new development will be a mix of 1- and 2-bedroom apartments all with their own private balconies plus residents can enjoy the various outdoor areas that have been incorporated into the new site to help create a sense of community. This includes a phenomenal 12th floor residents roof garden with views spanning across the whole of Glasgow in every direction and will have ample areas of seating for relaxing and tables for those to dine whilst taking in the dramatic views. There is also a private residents garden to the rear of the property which will also house secure bicycle storage.

Work is due to start on site in late 2024 with a view to being fully complete by mid-2026.

Lonend

Paisley

We’re excited to help reinvigorate Paisley Town Centre by transforming a derelict site into a buzzing community for high-quality, environmentally friendly residential living only a 10-minute walk from the heart of town. Located on the corner of Saucel Street and Lonend, this new development will become the new ‘gateway to Paisley’.

The former Department for Work and Pensions office has been vacant since 2018. We bought the 1.7-acre brownfield site in 2021 and have now secured planning consent to redevelop the site into 67 one- and two-bed modern apartments.

Designed with modern living in mind, of the 67 apartments, 25 are one-bedroom apartments with a separate homeworking space to accommodate modern working patterns. We have also developed pockets of open green space, as well as a secure children’s play park for residents. We hope such features will help to bring in young professional families and first-time buyers. Energy will be progressive, too, with PV solar panels helping to power the development.

Green travel will be another key feature, with 15 active EV charging stations onsite. Public transport is also easy to access with a bus stop directly outside the development, and two train stations both within a 10-minute walk away.

We hope to begin work on-site in the near future.
